But when you feel the need to do some shopping or experience Phuket's renowned attractions, vibrant Patong Beach is only a 10-minute ride away.

The Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach Resort opened in August 2013 and was designed with both adults and children in mind. The contemporary decor is inspired by nature, with each guest room boasting views of either the lush gardens or the Andaman Sea.

Rooms have top-of-the-line amenities and features, such as TV with movies, sports and children's channels and a connectivity panel. Families will appreciate the free Wi-Fi internet access.

Our youngest guests are not forgotten, with children under 10 receiving a special welcome gift on arrival. All children under 16 stay for free when using existing bedding and will enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast.

With a range of room configurations, we can cater for families of up to 6. This includes rooms (up to 3), suites (up to 4) and inter-connecting rooms (up to 6). We also have a free cot available for newborns.

Outside, the main pool features the swim-up Lilo Pool Bar, while the children's pool is fenced off with see-through railing from the main pool and has plenty of blow up animals & toys to keep your children entertained.

The resort also features a Kids' Club with educational and fun-filled activities including X-Box, painting, movies, art and fun daily activities and games.

With your children well looked after, use the opportunity to lie on the beach, take a dip in the sea, exercise or indulge yourself with a spa treatment. Babysitting is also available on request.

Meal-times are a treat for kids at the resort's Soul Kitchen, which overlooks the beach and has a large outdoor verandah. This all-day restaurant combines innovative international and modern Thai cuisine, as well as healthy food menus featuring fresh organic and locally-produced dishes.

There is a great selection of kids' meals available. Your children will be excited about the fun and creative options, from miniature cheese burgers, toasties, pasta and design your own pizza! All kids' meals come with fun and safe crockery & cutlery.
