Property description

Solitary Islands Marine Park Resort - just the name is enough to picture that this place is going to be a special one for a family holiday.

Located at Wooli, about 40 minutes from Grafton, and surrounded by national and marine parks, Solitary Islands Marine Park Resort is a holiday haven for kids. But there are more than enough comforts to keep everyone happy.

The park is spread across a natural bushland setting between the Wooli River and the coast and offers a range of family friendly accommodation. As well as campsites and powered riverside caravan sites (some with ensuites), there are cabins sleeping up to 7 - some with spa baths. Cots and highchairs are available for cabins.

There are also 12 beach huts, sleeping up to 4. These are a great option for families on a budget who can camp in comfort. They feature beds, a small fridge and TV, with guests using the communal toilet facilities and modern camp kitchen.

Outside, your children will enjoy the giant kangaroo jumper pillow and 18-hole mini golf. Many young guests bring their bikes & scooters, but we also have free pedal carts, with two different sizes meaning they can be enjoying by kids as young as 6.

The resort also has a heated pool, with waterslide, spa and a baby pool, as well as a playground and sandpit.

For families wanting to enjoy the waterside location, there is 300m of grassed waterfront reserve with picnic facilities. There are also complimentary canoes, kayaks and paddle boats to discover the beautiful Wooli River.

Fishing includes land-based from the resort's own rock wall, but local boat hire can be arranged and the boat will be delivered directly to the resort's boat ramp.

Your catch can be cooked on one of the park's barbecues, but for those times when the fishermen (and women) come back empty-handed, there is a licensed bar & cafe on site, and a courtesy bus to the local Chinese restaurant.

Kids are well catered for with a school holiday kids club program. See what the kids get up to. Our function room allows us to run special events for both kids and parents, including discos and bingo.

NOTE: Dogs are allowed in the park outside school holiday periods, and only in camping and powered sites. They are not allowed in cabin accommodation.

Family Friendly Accommodation likes: Lovely location offering a laid-back, comfortable beachside holiday. Kids well catered for, but with activities to bring the family together too.
